Cosmetic and Reconstructive Procedures on the Rise in the U.S.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) eyelid surgery, facelifts, neck lifts, and buttock augmentation are all increasing in popularity. The ASPS reports that nearly 15 million plastic surgery procedures were performed in 2013, an increase of three percent from 2012.

The ASPS also reports that surgical procedures such as breast augmentation have increased, along with nonsurgical treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and injectable fillers. Board-certified Naples plastic surgeon Manuel Peña, MD is pleased to offer these and other options, enabling him to meet the modern demands of men and women throughout our area.
